213th Avenue Paving Project

The Town of Paris will receive sealed Bids for the Year 2017 for 213th Avenue Paving Project until 5:00pm local time, on the 19th Day of July, 2017, at the office of the Town Clerk, 16607 Burlington Rd, Union Grove, WI, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Project:

1) Pave approximately ½ mile of 213th Avenue.

The Contract Documents and Specifications are on file with the Town Clerk, at the Town of Paris office located at 16607 Burlington Rd. Union Grove, WI.  A non-refundable processing and handling fee of $5.00 will be required for each set of Contract Documents picked up at the Town Hall.  A non-refundable processing, handling and postage fee of $10.00, paid in advance, for each set of Contract Documents sent via mail.

All contractors will be required to comply with the Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions of the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act and with all Prevailing Wage Requirements of the State of Wisconsin and all work is subject to Section 66.0903 of Wisconsin’s Statutes.

No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to at least 5% but not more than 10% of the Bid, payable to the Town of Paris, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds, and the Insurance Certificates, that are required by the Contract Documents, within the time limit set by the Town of Paris.

If the successful Bidder so files the above Documents, the Check or Bid Bond will be returned upon the execution of the Contract by the Town of Paris.  In case the bidder fails to file the above Documents, the amount of the Check or Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Paris as liquidated damages.

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of the Contract Price for the Project Bond.

The Town of Paris reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid which is in the best interest of the Town of Paris.  No Bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 40 days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of the Town of Paris.
